Hands-On activities: Try crocheting or knitting (teddies, scarves, tote bags) with yarn or milkbags, make a Kindness bracelet, make a craft for someone who is lonely or sick, bake for someone who can not bake, ride in a bicycle taxi, pack gift boxes for children, bring home a plant, visit Wild Bird Care Center, help with Raking, Gardening or Car washing, watch Kindness Videos, receive Kindness Cards and more… learn about Nepean Outreach to the World....
3. Exhibits such as learn how to such as transform Pillowcases into Dresses for Africa, meet Fairy Godmothers in Ottawa, Learn about bike safety, FAMSAC, Gifts for Gambia, Nepean Outreach to the World, Sustainability projects in Ottawa, Free advice from a Gluten-Free Chef, Canadian Food for Children, How to make a gift from fallen leaves and more…
4. Is your computer secure when online? The Cryptoparty is an opportunity for everyone, whether you graduated with a degree in computer science or just found the power button on your laptop. Come learn how to make using your computer more secure, and share your knowledge with others. If you have a laptop, bring it along. (1:30pm)
5. Bring your photographs or artwork to enter into the contest. The theme is “Rock the World with Kindness” contest details

Things you may bring: 1. Old computers (working or not) which will be rejuvenated & sent to schools and families in Costa Rica or via the Dave Smith Foundation (click here for info)
2. Old candles and wax bits (which will be melted down and sent to 3rd world for fuel & light)
3. Colourful Tissue boxes (like Kleenex), gift bag tissue and small toys/games for Birthday/Christmas boxes for underprivileged children
4. Plants for the Plant Exchange (if you know the name of the plant, please label it)
